Client:
norgenta North German Life Science Agency & Co. Ltd. is the cross-national marketing and service association of the German federal-states Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. The agency is assigned to support and coordinate all life-science activities in Northern Germany. Norgenta cross-links the competencies of companies, universities, research institutes and hospitals. Furthermore the agency initialises and supports innovative projects that foster the economical and scientifically prominence of the area. Thus, the know-how of North German universities and research institutes can be used specifically on the development and commercialisation of industrial products. The emphasis is to develop the region to a supra-national leading life-science area and to market it on an international level.

Project:
From 12 until 14 November 2007 the BIO Europe 2007 – Europe’s largest life-science conference – took place in Hamburg and was attended by more than 2.000 executives from all over the world. At the evening of 12 November norgenta and its partner Eppendorf AG, a Hamburg life-science company, invited the participants of the conference to the “eppendorf BIOLounge” that took place in Hamburg’s chamber of commerce.
For that purpose the whole ground floor of the chamber was transformed into a stylish lounge, which again was divided in several different themed areas. There were cosy lounge corners inviting the guests to relax as well as a large number of bistro tables serving well for networking purposes. The catering was presented separately in-between the spacious alleyways.
