The very first hammam of Selma and Coskun Costur won over the people of Hamburg; the couple were awarded the 2004 Hamburg Start-up Prize for their innovative concept. With a loving attention to detail, they created an unparalleled oasis of tranquillity and relaxation. Just three years later, they realised their second project, the "Hamam Hafen Hamburg" in the former harbour hospital in Seewartenstrasse. This overshadows all that precedes it: over an area of 700 square metres, visitors are carried off into another world. The entire interior was imported from Turkey and is made of the finest marble – from the floor through the massage tables to the washbasins. Relaxation loungers and luxurious seating invite guests to sit back and relax, and specially made doors, lavish chandeliers and many Ottoman accessories perfect the world of hammam with its wonderful dome light.
Generate awareness for the second Turkish bath "Hamam Hafen Hamburg" with its beneficial applications (6 "pamper programmes") based on centuries-old Turkish bathing tradition and its additional offers – from cosmetics to hair removal with hot wax. What's more, guests can taste exquisite Turkish cuisine in the accompanying restaurant. The hammam can also be booked as an attractive location for events.
